Holiday Gift Guide | Toddlers & Babies

10:13 AM

We are over here dreaming of turkey, cranberries & pumpkin pie and just realized that Christmas is only five weeks away! That's FIVE weeks from YESTERDAY! I am so excited to share a small holiday gift guide that I have put together, including a few of the things my girls absolutely love & and a few things that will be under the tree for them this year!

We love using something they want, something they need, something to wear & something to read as a guide for picking out gifts. Holiday shopping can be SO overwhelming, so it helps to keep things simple. We have also spoke with family this year about no adult gift exchange - at least in the manner of having to go out and buy a bunch of things. I'm all about homemade treats, sharing great food, company and time together. We want Christmas to be about the kids, the magic of the holidays through their eyes, and less stress.

For the girls, they seem to always need new jammies, and I absolutely adore Old Navy's selection. They have so many fun prints to choose from. They always have cute text & designs.

Art supplies are also a staple, and I truly love the Color Wonder line. Aria likes to wander around the house and doodle on things. After I found crayon scribbles all over the wine fridge and television, I sought out to find other less disastrous options. The color wonder markers leave a easily removable film, (almost like an oil, but not) so if she doodles on the fridge, dresser and walls, I can just wipe it off - if I even notice it.

Since transitioning Aria to her toddler bed, we have been using crib sheets and all of her snuggly swaddle blankets layered together. She loves to rip them all off the bed every morning and take them with her, leaving a blanket here and there all over the house. I think it's time for a bed set of sorts. I love the swiss dot set, I've had my eye on it for a long time, but just found out Little Unicorn is releasing some gorgeous new prints, so I may end up ordering their crib sheets & a quilt

For Christmas this year, Aria has asked for Elsa. Frozen has been a big hit over here, so we are leaning toward this singing doll (and a bottle of ibuprofen ;). I also think this Little People Princess Castle would be a big hit. On that note, how adorable is this Little People Nativity Set!?

We bought Aria an Ikea kitchen, which I absolutely love and highly recommend, but how fun is this Sunday Brunch Play Kitchen!? That backsplash. And I can't help but seek out new play food and accessories for it every holiday. I love the little pantry set below, along with all the felt fruit..  and the box of play food rattles would be perfect for Emi!

And then there are babies! I think it’s always so hard to come up with Christmas gifts for babies, because 1. they’re babies and 2. you probably already bought all the things you really need for them. A few of my favorite gift ideas would be milestone stickers (if you haven’t already seen these, they’re really the cutest photo props ever! - we have the fruit), which would also be the perfect gift for a baby on the way! They also have cute closet organizers & holiday stickers! And some adorable, all natural teethers (like Sophie or this little deer) that can also be used as toys!

I've included shopping image & pricing links to some of these items and some other fun ones below.  I hope this has been helpful for anyone still in need of gift ideas, and as always, please share any of your great finds with us in the comments at the bottom! I cannot even handle the excitement I have for the holidays this year.  XO!
